Is a plasma TV a girl’s new best friend?
An Oxygen Network survey released Tuesday found that more than three out of four women said they’d choose the TV over a diamond solitaire necklace. Women preferred a top-of-the-line cellphone to designer shoes by a similar margin. And a little white iPod narrowly trumped a little black dress.

These are among the results of the Girls Gone Wired survey by market researcher TRU for Oxygen. TRU surveyed 1,400 women and 700 men 15 to 49 years old to compare tech attitudes among the sexes.
Gadget Mom: You know, I’d have to agree with this survey! I ain’t no Donna Reed and I’d NO doubt choose the TV, IPod and Cellphone over the necklace, shoes and little black dress! — Let’s think about this… what are the necklace, shoes and little black dress going to get you? One occassional night of attention when the others can be used EVERY SINGLE Day!
The way to my own heart is a nice neat little package with that little disclaimer batteries not included!

Well, for a surprise gift the tech toys are fabulous! I prefer to pick out jewelry and clothes for myself. I have really simple taste and a lot of stuff is just to **BLING** for me.

I like bling things too. One of my favorite stores is a local pawn shop. I have found some AMAZING Bling there for Well UNDER $100.
