Surviving one of those days…

It’s 7:30 here in Oz and I’m just taking a minute to reflect back on my day wondering just how the HECK did this happen… I’m usually so darned organized.

For starters and to make a long story short, one of the reasons Wendy at eMoms at Home and I clicked right away is the fact that we’ve both struggled through being a single mom. During my own years of single momhood I would wonder in amazement just how some people (uh-like ma’ ex) could walk away from responsibility and never look back.

Being the huge believer and FAN of Karma that I am (looking toward the Heaven’s wondering if the big guy heard that thought), I knew if I waited long enough and stayed focused on what was most important, my twin babies, that eventually Karma would have her say.

Karma is having her say, loud and clear - 10 years later, but better late then never, right? In fact, she had me quite shook up today.

I was in the process of putting together a “full of love” package from home for my mom in Canada when the phone rang telling me that my ex is being called on the carpet and in front of the judge for years of unpaid child support. I became so distracted by what I was hearing that I wound up putting my own bills in with my mom’s care package.

Not intential I assure you ;)

It took me three hours to search the house high and low to figure out what I had done with them.

Talk about misplacing your keys.

I’m finally able to work my rounds to my favorite blog reads of the day - and see that The Devine Mrs. W has tagged me for a meme on productivity. How’da’ya like them apples?

All in good fun, I will participate in this meme - however, I will refrain until tomorrow and hopefully tomorrow, with God as my witness, I’ll have a more productive day :)
