Scariest Movies Ever - Just in time for Halloween
Below are the 13 scariest-ever films, in order, as were chosen by the Horror Boards as the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com)
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
- Halloween (1978)
- Psycho (1960)
- Night of the Living Dead (1968)
- The Exorcist (1973)
- The Shining (1980)
- Dawn of the Dead (2004)
- The Thing (1982)
- Suspiria (1977)
- Jaws (1975)
- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
- The Evil Dead (1981)
- Alien (1979)
I can think of a few I’ve seen that were a little more frightening than those listed above - such as Silence of the Lambs, Children of the Corn, Amityville Horror and The Saw
When I attempt to watch some of the scary movies from the 70’s or 80’s, I find them to be more like a low budget film and more comic relief than frightening.
What about you? What movies have you seen that should appear on the above list?
Happy haunting :)

Well, i am not such a fan of horror movies to remember them exactly. I have watched few listed on this list, but yes, i do remember some scarier movies beside them.
