Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is just a couple of weeks away and in honor of all mom’s, I’m offering up the MomGadget Mother’s Day Gift Guide to help those lacking inspiration to find the perfect gift.

Mom’s and grandmother’s alike love The 8-Inch LCD Photo Frame.  I have a Phillips and it never stops being a conversation piece and almost a year later, it’s not even close to being full of new pictures.

Pajama’s happen to be one of the things most mom’s overlook in getting for themselves.  It’s too easy to throw on a stained t-shirt and a pair of sweat pants.  That doesn’t mean we don’t like pretty, cute or even sexy PJ’s once in a while.

Another item that mom’s love but rarely purchase is a nice cologne.  What woman doesn’t love to smell good!  Giving mom a nice bottle of Prada By Prada For Women. Eau De Parfum Spray would certainly make her feel special.  The devil doesn’t have to be the only one wearing Prada!

With the way the economy and gas prices are, other items you might consider on a more local level are:

Gas Cards for mom’s favorite fueling station

Gift Cards and Agenda for Mom’s Day Out - plan a full day for mom and provide the cards and a complete planned agenda of what you have in mind.  Perhaps include enough so mom can take a friend she doesn’t get to spend much time with.  Dinner, a movie, a day spa, a day at her favorite salon.

Cook dinner for mom and invite a few of her friends over for an evening of socializing.

Clean her house or hire it done.

    I would love to have a day at the spa!!! I really need it :)

    That or I would love to have some fantastic decorator come and decorate the second floor as we are currently remodeling.

    I know. I have pipe dreams. *sigh*

    A trip to the spa is getting to be a pretty common gift. I’m sure a lot of moms would like it, but spending the money on a family thing might be more preferred. I like the LCD picture frame, it puts a new spin on a traditional gift.

    I got this same footbath last Mother’s Day and I love it. I use it once a week.

    The spa days certificates are really nice but I agree, it’s more fun to go with someone than to go alone. Include a certificate for Dad to get a massage and you have both mother’s and father’s day covered!
