MomGadget Home Tour - Bedroom
When the rest of my house is filled with three male teens and a husband, the bedroom tends to be my one place to escape to - to relax, watch my chick flicks or read.
There are more things, not necessarily gadgets, but things, in my bedroom that I just don’t want to do without.
One thing many of the products have in common are The Company Store. I love, Love, LOVE The Company Store for all my linen type purchases.
First are my sheets! I love my Egyptian Cotton sheets - there is absolutely NO substitute for good, quality sheets. Deep pockets, extra width to ease the frustrations associated with blanket hogs. They make sleeping… much better, period! Last year I broke down and bought some as a Christmas gift to myself and I can’t stress enough what an amazing investment that was.
As much as I wash them - they feel just as silky as they did on day one. No balling, no fading and well worth the extra money I spent.
Then my pillow! I have a Carpenter Medi-Comfort pillow. It is made with high-
density memory foam which reacts to my body heat and weight and self adjusts to individual head and neck contours. Whether I’m sitting in bed tapping away on my Laptop, reading or watching a movie, this pillow provides the best support to keep my neck from feeling as though I’m developing a pet rock farm for wayward stress rocks.
The Olevia 332H 32? LCD HD Ready Monitor was one of those gadgets that happened when Mercury was in retrograde. Everything seemed to be going wrong - the television breaking was one of those things.
I’d wanted a nice television and found this one at our local H.H. Gregg. It was a great purchase and I’ve been thrilled with it’s performance since.
That just about does it for the gadgets in my room. What about you?

oooh, nice sheets are the best. We bought one crappy “backup” pair for emergencies such as cat vomit, and we hate using them so much! Not only do they feel papery, they barely even fit on the mattress! Only good sheets from now on.

The two best things in my bedroom are pretty dorky. One is the speaker set I have for my mp3 player so I can listen to music in there. The other is my cell phone which I use to play a loop of white noise all night long to help me sleep.

Loads of books (I can’t go to bed without first having a good portion of reading) + my favorite black vase with a floral ornament (with a single flower in it)… good bedding is vital (I prefer cotton to all the rest materials):)
