MomGadget Goes Blogtipping - August 1
On the first of each month, there are a number of bloggers who go Blogtipping. In short, it’s a blogger paying a visit to three unsuspecting bloggers, sharing three positive comments about the blog and leaving one tip on how they might improve their blog in some way.
This month, I’ve decided to select three random Mommy type blogs via StumbleUpon. I thought it might be more fun finding entirely new to me blogs :)
Here we go…
1. Mom on Coffee - How could I not give a shout out to MOC. She’s just made the big move from blogger to her own domain and in the process she participated in the Blogathon. She’s got more guts then me!
I love the new design. Love the coffee cup icons by each post. Template is very clean and inviting. Makes me want to hang out and have a coffee with her.
The ONLY tip I can think of is to add some categories. I love to read blogs based on categories and it does help in the long run to organize and search out old posts you might want to reference.
2. Crunchy Carpets - Fun blog, entertaining reads, a glimpse inside the life of the blogger and her family happenings that sucks you in and keeps you reading. Love the template. The Cherrio’s header is quite fitting.
The one thing I found that I didn’t like so much was even with having a higher speed connection the site was VERY slow to load. It took so long that I almost didn’t stay to see what was waiting inside.
3. Table for Five - I swear I did random searches, but still managed to find a blogger I feel I already know. What can I say, I just love Elizabeth. I love her writing, I love her honesty, I love the fact that when you read what she has to say, you feel as though you are sharing a conversation with a neighbor. She’s passionate about her blogging even when it goes against the grain. I like that!
The only tip I have for Elizabeth is don’t sweat the small stuff. Keep focused on what you’re doing. Continue to be proud and know that your honesty is admired by those who care about you most.
