When I told my second grader we were reviewing the LiteRider, a forward-facing booster seat for children 30-100 lbs by Harmony Juvenile Products, she went a little crazy. I didn’t get the “Mom, I’m way too old for a booster seat” nor did I get the “You must be kidding” look, she was excited to get out of her old booster that was uncomfortable, cumbersome and slightly sticky after years of use. She was over the moon after looking at the product online and immediately chose the pink Youth Booster Seat.
After it arrived, we read the directions included with the seat to make sure there were no bells and whistles missing or could be overlooked and were pleased at the simple yet functional design. Reading the week before how her previous booster was unsafe for use due to design issues, this seat conforms to new standards with the seat belt straps fitting low on her lap against her hip bones and not over her stomach. The design, with the seat belt straps hooking under the booster arms securely fastens her to the seat making it unlikely for her to slide under it in case of a sudden stop. There is also a shoulder belt guide included to make the booster seat as safe as possible for your child to ride in. The seat pad is washable and durable for long trips and my daughter thinks the seat itself is quite comfortable.
Lily is quite pleased with the booster and proud to show it off to her friends. How many times can you say THAT about a booster? I will definitely recommend this product to friends, thanks Harmony!

I can definitely see my kids not resisting that booster seat! Looks alot better than the options from just a couple years ago. If there is less resistance from my kids, I’m all for it!
