Law of Attraction Action in 2010

To me, the object of The Secret – or “Law of Attraction” is to let go of the past and plan, hope and dream toward the future. That’s precisely what I’ve been preparing for over the last few days.
The year 2009 brought with it so much turmoil – but it’s because I allowed it – I invited it, I hosted it and I entertained it in a way that it never wanted to leave.
Just like in The Secret – the woman gets out of bed, stubs her toe and that sets the pattern for the whole day. Well, my 2009 started off with my asking for a divorce that spun into a nasty battle and from there, I had every excuse known to man to keep living chaos, turmoil and in the heaviest stresses I’ve ever known.
Not anymore!
That all stops with the ushering in of a new year.
During my planning for 2010 – I have been avoiding news and daytime television that seems filled with negativity. It’s not that I don’t care that goes on in the world – it’s that I have to be a little selfish these days and get my priorities straight.
Instead, I’ve been playing my DVD – The Secret
It’s like I can feel the darkness lifting, the pet rock farm that had set up shop on my shoulders, melting, and life taking on a more normal appearance.
If you’ve not watched The Secret – Order it NOW – don’t wait! There are plenty of used copies on Amazon to choose from, so it’s not going to break you. I’d highly recommend reading Success Principles too!
I’m working on revamping my two-year-old vision board into something more “me” as I am now and will be welcoming in 2010 with high hopes, big dreams, a solid plan and a nice, chilled Mimosa!

I’m with you! I have had my share of crap things that happened in 2009 AND 2008 come to think of it, and I’m feeling the same way. 2010 does seem promising. Hope springs eternal, as they say:)

I have the Secret on CD and listen to it every night before I go to bed. I love it! I would like to get it on DVD and play it over and over again. I want to check out Success Principles. Sounds like it is right up my alley!

The Success Principles and The Secret are two of my favorites. The Secret is really what put Law of Attraction principles in the mainstream. Have a Happy 2010! I agree with Julie…it will be a great year!

The Secret has been a powerful force in my life too! Everyday I amazed by how it works, and keeps on working.
I will definitely check out Jack Canfields Success Principles, thanks for the heads up.
Jerry and Esther Hicks (they are also featured on The Secret) also wrote one of my favourites “The Purpose of Deliberate Intent” which is also very helpful, with practical exercises that one can do to restore relationships, get out of debt etc. Very good, and highly recommended.
I truely believe THE SECRET is what brought me to MomGadget. I read it months ago and began to put it to work for me. I have a new outlook and am busy awaiting all that THE SECRET brings me in the new year.
I think one of the big secrets is to realize that there’s nothing magical about 2010 – you’ll be the same person on New Year’s Day as you were on New Year’s Eve. YOU have the power to change and control your life – not the calendar!

@ Ladonna – It’s been fun introducing the laws of attraction into my everyday life. Hard to believe something that sounds so simple can be so impactful but still hard to do. It’s a great challenge though and worth it in the end.

@ Cristal – It’s amazing at how LOA works and lands you where you need to be. It’s so easy to look up and think “ah ha!” isn’t it?
@ Nick – I think it’s working much like a wardrobe. I am the same person in the jeans and sweatshirt I am wearing today – but put me in a brand new set and I’ll feel like a million bucks. Same goes with putting my butt into the new year. Out with old and in with the new.
Yah, I love the Secret too – and I too think it really works, in fact I am due for another refresher of the movie.

I’m intending for 2010 to be my best year ever. All I have to do is make feeling good my number one priority. I work each day on my website, which is all about the Law of Attraction. And I’m always focusing on my desires, not the lack of them. Yes, I’m definitely excited about 2010!
It’s amazing to me with books going back hundreds and some thousands of years how many people have come to the law of attraction via ‘the Secret’. I think there’s better info out there now than ever though. Between your Bob Doyles, your Hicks’, your Hale Dwoskins and Larry Cranes everyone will get this thing in a few years. Momgadget looks like a great site to spread the word.
