Innobaby Packin’ SMART® - A MomGadget Review

First let me say this product does come in handy and while I haven’t got to use it on a trip I have played with it a bit. The Innobaby Packin Smart stacker has 5 stackers total that all connect to one another. It doesn’t break either, at least not when it falls. I have four kids and I am clumsy myself, it was knocked to the ground three times so far and it didn‘t break. But it did open up but only one of the compartments. Thankfully it only had tic-tacs in it. The little case is small enough to fit in your purse though, or diaper bag.

What’s currently in my Packin’ Smart Formula Dispenser and Snack Case:

1: small pretzel bites (top)
2: cocoa mix (don‘t have baby cereal at the moment, but it would be perfect for that or formula)
3: fruit snacks for the kids
4: mints
5: tortilla chips (broken)

As you can see you can put anything that is SMALL inside these little compartments from food, beverage mixes (not the beverage though), to household items. While you can’t stick much in them you really don’t have to when you are using this for an infant. Imagine having to leave town for a three or four hour drive with baby in tow. Toss in some powdered formula, baby cereal and a few bite size snacks and you are ready to go. You don’t have to toss the can of formula, box of cereal and bags of snacks inside the diaper bag and it’ll be lighter for ya.

I had in-laws down here and asked them if they could try it out and tell me what they thought:

One tried it but couldn’t figure out how to open it, her fingers couldn’t push the sides in enough. Before ya think this is bad, my kids can so not sure why she couldn’t…maybe arthritis, I’m not sure.

How do you open it:
Simply place it in your hand and use your thumb and pointer finger to press on the indentions until it releases. The top can lift right off once it has been released. Now it’ll have an opening (small hole in the top), place your finger in the hole and lift up, while holding it in place. You can fill it up with whatever you desire and place the lid back on it, snap it back together and you are off. The very top even has a tiny handle. Currently my baby boy loves to hold one compartment with the handle and shake it to hear it rattle.

The other stated, “It’s really something moms can use, wish they had it when I was younger. Only it can’t hold a lot and if you have it open and a child knocks into it, it will spill.” Very true, I do agree with both her statements.

Bottom line is it’s great for any parent with a little baby, heck, you can even use it for young kids that need a snack to go. They snap together and are simple to use, makes every mother’s daily life a little bit easier. You can even use it to store all your office supplies so you won’t have a mess on your desk. 1. Very cool! What a great little gadget. ;)

  2. Yes, it really is a neat product. Currently my son is playing with just one of them in his swing. A few chips are in it so it keeps making noises like a rattle. He loves it.
