I-Bakesale Works For You!
I’d like to introduce you to a new program called I-bakesale. While you may be thinking why should I care? I am taking just a moment to tell you why! There are a few things I-Bakesale can do for each other.
Firstly, the beta program is being made available primarily to mommy bloggers! However, even if you’re not a mom you’re still encouraged to participate, if you like to shop online, I’d love to have you too!
For those who don’t know exactly what beta programs do; here is the answer: You sculpt the experience for future users, you decide what features you want on the site, what you think is useless or you don’t like, stores you want added and figure out the bugs. So basically the pro’s and cons!
Now everyone always wants to know what’s in it for them. So what exactly can I-Bakesale do for you? As an example on Pajama Mommy I currently do fund raising for charities! On Pajama Mommy the readers decide (after its reached its level to be able to donate) where they want the money to go! I will allow my readers to write in and make suggestions. But since premiering it I have 5 people sign up and donate a total of $5.57 but the money isn’t coming out of their pocket! Whenever they shop online, they go through I-Bakesale and see if the store they want is listed they use the link through I-Bakesale and received cash back. From that cash they can donate from 5% to 100% to the charity of their choice. (Multiple charity donations are available.) Or you can be greedy (which is okay!) and keep all the funds and have them refund it back onto the credit card of your choice! I am writing this guest post not just to tell you about this awesome new program, but to let you know that everyone of Gayla’s readers are invited to be apart of my beta group! I hope you find this useful! I have a few things set up, for example I’m saving up for the Chrysler Aspen (my dream car!) So I have a little Car Fund set up labeled the “Amanda Harris Fund” which whenever I shop it deposits the proceeds into there, so I can save and shop at the same time. People are using it to help pay for weddings, church groups, youth organizations etc. The programs potential is amazing!
