Foods of the Web

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Foods of the Web is a comprehensive, online catalog of sorts that features specialty foods. You can find product in a wide range of categories – from baked goods and beverages to meats, candies, soups and more.

Foods of the Web also provides a nice selection of sugar-free and gluten-free products. You can visit www.foodsoftheweb.com to explore unique, specialty food products and then with the click of your mouse, you can be transported directly to the individual retail web sites to further make your purchase.

This site was started by a single dad from Atlanta who wanted an easy and fun way to search for unique and gourmet food items without the hassle of going from store to store or endless online searches.

How brilliant is that?

Food on the Web offers a variety of gift ideas for upcoming springtime festivities:

· For the high school/college grad:  “Collegiate Gameday Pack” – bbq/hot sauce pack you can customize to your two favorite teams

· For the new mom:  Gourmet Muffin Gift Basket

· For the house-sitting neighbor:  Smoked trout

· For the best friend’s birthday:  Chocolate-chip-cookie-dough cheesecake

· For the overworked mother:  Deluxe Grand Gourmet Gift Basket

  1. Very clever idea, especially when you’re looking for something that is hard to find. I’m all for sites that aggregate everything into one place for a good consumer experience.

  2. Love it! …not have to go searching on multiple sites for specialty foods…this is definitely a good thing!
