proposal

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, more guys are contemplating popping the question to the special woman in their life.

The proposal is important, but presentation is everything! Make it an experience she’ll never forget.

Some of the most romantic ways to propose are:

  1. Recreate the first date that you went on with them. Not only will this bring back lots of happy memories of that very special day but will also get them in the right mood when you do finally propose.
  2. Buy a charm bracelet – Not just any charm bracelet though, instead of the usual little charms on it arrange to have the words “Marry Me” spelled out instead.
  3. Take her on one of the most romantic cruises she could dream of. A beautiful sunset could set the perfect stage for a memorable proposal.
  4. Get a single red rose and gently place the ring inside its petals. Carefully handing it to her. When she moves towards the rose to smell it, she will see the ring and be ready to say “yes” to your proposal.

Do you have a romantic proposal story to share? We’d love to hear it!

VholdR Contour HD Camcorder

I recently had the opportunity to review the VholdR Contour HD Wearable Camcorder by Twenty20.

This Contour HD is the first and lightest HD Helmet Camera.  It’s made for the active lifestyle but I wasn’t going skiing, snowboarding or biking so I used it as a handheld in the backyard with my puppies.

Since this is made to be mounted on a helmet, automobile or worn on goggles there’s no viewfinder so I just aimed in the general direction of my puppies and it worked great.  You can shoot in HD or SD mode but I used HD to get the full benefits.

To get the video to your computer you can install the Vholdr desktop from the Micro SD Card included with the camcorder or download it from their website.  Once you import the clip you can edit, save, email or share on the Contour HD Video Community.

The VholdR Contour HD Camcorder comes with a flat surface mount for helmets and automobiles, a goggle mount, Micro SD Card, USB adapter and battery.

The VholdR Contour HD retails for $249.99 but I did see it on Amazon for less.
