Are you looking for that perfect gift for yourself or that person you don’t know what to buy for. A personalized gift that you can guarantee they’re sure to love and not return. A canvas portrait from AllPopArt.com. AllPopArt will take a photo and turn it into a custom work of art that anybody would be proud and honored to display.
I recently had the opportunity to turn a photo into canvas art with the help of the experts and artist at AllPopArt. They make it so easy from start to finish. Once I chose the subject for my personalized canvas portrait I called the their toll free number and they explained the process to me. They even set up an account but you can do this on your own through their website. After the account was created I uploaded the photo I wanted along with the type of artwork I chose which was the single subject Warhol Print.
They have a team of artists that digitally draw your photo and create a beautiful work of art that rivals any professional hand painting I’ve ever seen. AllPopArt keeps in constant contact with you via email and after a couple of days there were 2 samples of my portrait for me to choose from or I could request changes. I decided I wanted less bold Warholesque colors and opted for more subtle earth tones that would compliment the colors in my home put in my request while also sending them to a link to a another of my websites that has the perfect colors in the header. I again received an email within a couple of days with the changes I asked for. Once I was happy I accepted the final product and a few days later I received an email with tracking number, my print was on it’s way.
The print arrived on the date promised and it was packaged and protected very well. They also included hanging hardware which makes it that much quicker to get your artwork displayed to enjoy and share with others.
This would make a great gift for new parents, pet lovers, newlyweds, birthdays…well, any holiday or occasion you could think of. While you’re thinking about it why not have one made for Mother’s Day.

Jill-e designs Camera Bags for Women
I recently received a great camera bag from jill-e designs. This bag comes in a variety of designs and colors to match any taste or mood. The bags were designed to appeal to women but there area a few that men would like also.
I was told to pick the bag of my choice and I chose the Small Bone Leather Camera Bag. This bag is stylish and functional with removable dividers inside and several pockets on the outside for cables and accessories. Also included is a small pouch that will hold personal items if needed. I personally think that’s a great place to put your wallet, ID or whatever else you need to keep at hand. After all with a bag this stylish why carry an extra bag in the form of a purse when this will do double duty.
Another bag I received was the Messenger Style Camera Bag. This bag is so versatile it can be used for more than a camera. With it’s heavy duty magnetic closure on the front flap and large outside pocket that’s hidden by the flap this would make a great carry-all for everything from books to small baby items for mom’s on the go. A few diapers, wipes and extra bottle and you’re good to go. This bag I think I’m going to give to a 20 year old cousin who is constantly on the go with work, friends and family. It’s got the colors most young women would like and will work well in almost all situations.
The Messenger Style Camera bag also comes with removable dividers so using only 1 divider you can use 1 section for your camera and the rest as a purse. This way you’re not having to hunt through your purse for your camera and you get the added protection of not scratching the lens or view finder.
Anybody who’s into photography knows protecting your camera is your number 1 goal since a scratched lens will not make for good photographs and there is only so much you can do with digital editing software.
If you’re looking for extra insurance to protect your camera as well as a versatile bag that’s both stylish and functional I’d go with a camera bag from Jill-e designs.

Queen, Fancy Love, Siren and Marc Ecko Reviews

When I was asked to review 4 different perfumes I was a little hesitant since I have asthma and a lot of scents tend to make me cough a lot. When the packages arrived I slowly opened each one and took a sniff. OK. So far so good, no overwhelming need to cough so I removed the caps and sprayed the first one which was Queen by Queen Latifah. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Nice light scent, not overpowering at all. The next step was spraying a little on me. Even that went better than I expected and I was sitting there with the scent softly wafting up and it’s a very nice light airy fragrance.
The next scent I decided to try was Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson. Fancy Love is a little spicier but still nothing to set off any coughing. Nice pleasant aroma and not too strong. Sort of a sweet spice.
Next up was Siren by Paris Hilton. Siren is softer than the other 2 and not at all overpowering. Siren is something I could see myself wearing on a daily basis, not just for that special occassion. It’s more of a clean fresh scent.
Now we can’t forget the men in our lives so I was also sent Marc Ecko to review. Marc Ecko has that clean just showered and shaved scent I love in a man. It doesn’t feel like it’s trying to cover anything up, just a nice scent I could find myself cuddling up next to.
All these fragrances retail for about $60. What great Valentine’s Day gifts for that someone special or a treat for yourself.
I received samples of these scents in exchange for an honest review. There was no other compensation. The opinions expressed are my own and NOT influenced in any way.Corel Digital Studio 2010

My love for photography began in high school when my parents got me my first 35mm camera. Since then I’ve progressed to bigger and better SLR’s, I’ve had my own darkroom and even followed the trend to digital. The best thing about digital is not having to spend money developing and printing photos that don’t turn out well or wishing you could have done this or that differently. But the best part is not having to find room to store all those photos. Yes, I’ve got bins full of old photographs that I never even look at. My digital photos are on disks that I can label and store in a nice little box.
Now comes the best part of digital photos, the sharing. I was putting the photos I wanted to share in email and the recipient had to open each photo individually to view them but now with the help of Corel Digital Studio 2010 I can make it a more enjoyable experience by creating a slideshow. I created my first slide show in minutes. Corel Digital Studio 2010 also allows you to burn the slideshow to a disk for viewing on your TV. How cool is that.
With Corel Digital Studio 2010 I can fix my photos to get them just the way I want by cropping, getting rid of that evil looking red eye, making dark photos brighter or the other say around and save them. I can put those photos in the slideshow or create calenders collages or make my own cards. I can upload them directly to Facebook to share with my friends and family.
This is a slideshow of my puppies is one I created in about 20 minutes. The hardest part was deciding which photos to use.
Another great feature is the video editor. You know how you always get things you don’t care about in those videos because you’re afraid you’ll miss something if you turn the camera off. Now you can take those parts out and keep only the parts you want. It’s so easy. No more footage of the ground as you’re walking, no more embarassing moments for the world to see, ok maybe not the world but you get the idea. You can cut those out and only have the scenes you really want to share.
What’s included with Corel Digital Studio 2010:
- Corel® PaintShop Photo™ Express 2010
- Corel® VideoStudio® Express 2010
- Corel® WinDVD® 2010
- Corel® DVD Factory™ 2010
Corel Digital Studio 2010 retails for $99.99 but Corel is selling it for $79.99 and I’ve seen in on Amazon for less.
I received Corel Digital Sutdio 2010 in exchange for an honest review. There was no other compensation. The opinions expressed are my own and NOT influenced in any way.
Footzyrolls

Footzyrolls sent me a pair of their rollable, foldable shoes to try. Footzyrolls were designed to be carried in your purse or handbag for use when your feet cannot tolerate your toe pinching, arch aching heels any longer.
My foot is a 6.5 Wide and I ordered a Small which fits sizes 6-7. I should have listened to their note that said if you wear a wide shoe bump the size up. The shoes fit but my toes were pinched. Footzyrolls was kind enough to send me a medium and the test was on. I wore these around the house, when I was outside and forgot I had shoes on at all. They are comfortable and the sole is sturdy enough to protect your feet with a slight cush in the heel for added comfort.
At a price of $25-$30 and colors for everyday, special occassions and weddings Footzyrolls should be on everyone’s must buy list. You can order Footzyrolls form their website or retailers nationwide.
Vholdr ContourHD Camcorder

I recently had the opportunity to review the VholdR Contour HD Wearable Camcorder by Twenty20.
This Contour HD is the first and lightest HD Helmet Camera. It’s made for the active lifestyle but I wasn’t going skiing, snowboarding or biking so I used it as a handheld in the backyard with my puppies.
Since this is made to be mounted on a helmet, automobile or worn on goggles there’s no viewfinder so I just aimed in the general direction of my puppies and it worked great. You can shoot in HD or SD mode but I used HD to get the full benefits.
To get the video to your computer you can install the Vholdr desktop from the Micro SD Card included with the camcorder or download it from their website. Once you import the clip you can edit, save, email or share on the Contour HD Video Community.
The VholdR Contour HD Camcorder comes with a flat surface mount for helmets and automobiles, a goggle mount, Micro SD Card, USB adapter and battery.
The VholdR Contour HD retails for $249.99 but I did see it on Amazon for less.

Timberland Pro Renova Series Shoes
December 20, 2009 by denice

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Timberland PRO Renova Series shoes. I got to pick the style I wanted in that series and picked the Caregiver in
Chestnut. I was a little hesitant to try a pair of shoes without being able to try them on first since I have a short wide foot. Yes, I’m a 6 1/2 WIDE and have always had a very difficult time finding shoes that were comfortable. I contemplated ordering a size 7 just to make up for the width but was assured these shoes come in wide and are true to size so the 6 1/2 WIDE it was.
When the shoes arrived I checked them out and noticed the inside seemed to be a rubberized sort of material. I’m not sure if this is part of the anit-microbial feature of the shoe but I soon discovered it kept my foot in place so I wasn’t walking out of them as I’ve done with other clog type shoe. There is also a non-slip, non marking sole that’s great and I was able to walk with confidence without fear of slipping and sliding.
Now came the true test; fit and comfort. The Timberland Pro Renova Caregiver is sturdy and comfortable with enough room for my toes to wiggle. The first few days I wore them on short errands to the store and a doctors visit and one of the first things I noticed when walking across the parking lot was the cush I was feeling with each step. The sole of the shoe is formed in such a way as to take the pressure off of key points allowing for added comfort and less fatigue. They also have a rocker bottom to eliminate leg and foot fatigue The third time I wore these shoes I was going to be doing a lot of walking outside on gravel, grass and stones. I noticed my feet didn’t get sore, I wasn’t struggling to keep them on or wanting to get them off. As a matter of fact I forgot I had them on. I forgot they were new shoes and was able to wear them all day with no problems.
The Timberland Pro Renova has several styles to meet your own personal style and needs.
I’m more than happy with these shoes, thank Timberland for this opportunity.
