I received an email a while back about wedding customs. If my memory serves me right, the term June Bride comes from way back when people rarely take showers or baths. June was one of those months that they get cleaned up that’s why most weddings occur that time of year. I’m uber lazy to do a search now, can anyone second this?

I had no idea. Very interesting though.
I’ve always believed June to be the most popular. Perhaps it’s because that’s when most of the weddings I personally attend occur :)
